House of Marley Launches New Speakers in UK

Posted on 21 March 2012

The House of Marley, the audio company that has created a unique brand in honour of Bob Marley and building on their core principles of superior product and audio quality, earth-friendliness, and being cause-minded, has launched three new portable audio systems in the United Kingdom.

The company’s Twitter account announced this with much enthusiasm in a tweet that said, “NEW MARLEY DOCKS HAVE LAUNCHED in the UK. We’re sooooooo excited!!! Check it out!!!” And if you’re looking for a stylish and quality portable speaker dock, we do suggest that you check it out. Each of the three newly launched audio systems have very distinct looks, but all offer superior sound quality.

Leading the line is the Bag of Rhythm, priced at £300. The speaker dock, made specifically for the iPod and iPhone, comes with 4.5-inch woofers and 1-inch tweeters. It also sports touch sensitive controls, and a good number of power options (D-cell batteries, car adapter, power cord for outlets), however, the rechargeable battery does not come standard and is an add-on. Only the Bag of Rhythm is available right now, with the other two speaker docks, called the Get Up Stand Up and the Chant, to be released this summer.

The Get Up Stand Up speaker dock is a tablet top speaker dock and has a price range similar to the Bag of Rhythm. The Chant costs a lot less and is perfect for those on a budget with the speaker priced at only £49.99. With no woofers, the Chant comes with a 2-inch full range and 2-in passive radiator speaker driver enclosed in a drum-like case.
All speakers come with a 2-year warranty.
